How long will it take before my site is completed?

As soon as you register we'll e-mail a form for you to complete describing how your site is to appear. We'll begin working on your site as soon as we receive the completed form. The number of days it takes to complete your site depends on our current workload, the number of pages you want created and the complexity of your site. Unless your site is very complex or large, we can usually have it completed within 7 - 10 days.

What if I don't like how my site looks?

We're dedicated to your complete satisfaction with our services. As each page is completed we'll e-mail you a private web address where you can view the page. Just mail us back with any comments or corrections and we'll modify the page until its exactly the way you want it to appear. Once you're happy with the layout we'll move it to your web space. Any changes after this point are considered to be updates and will be deducted from your annual page allotment.

Can I use all of my pages at once?

You may use as many pages as you wish up to the package annual allotment either to initially construct your site or to update your pages. Should you use up your allotment of pages, you can upgrade to a larger package at any time for a $10 upgrade fee.

How long is my commitment?

You can cancel service at any time. Basically, you are paying for web page design in quarterly installments and receiving web space for free. If you cancel before the end of a 12 month period there may be a balance due based on the number of pages you've already used. For example, if you use half of your total annual page allotment there would be a balance due if you cancelled prior to paying your second quarterly installment.

How much space am I allowed to use?

A typical web page is considered to be approximately 8 1/2 by 11 in size including text and images. There is no limit on the number of images you choose to have included on your pages. We may charge extra for unusually large audio / video files or for storing files that are not directly used by any of your web pages. (such as shareware programs you want to distribute from your site).

How do I sign up for a web site?

Reserving your web site couldn't be easier. Click on 'Order' on the toolbar at the top of any page (or click here), fill out our brief questionaire, indicate what size & type of web site you are interested in and click on the 'send order' button. We'll e-mail you a form to use to describe how you want each of your pages to look. Return one copy of the form for each page you want us to create and attach any image files you want included. As each page is completed, we'll place it in a private location on the web for you to view and approve. Don't forget to send your payment in right away to avoid any delays in processing your order.

Do I have to provide ALL graphics?

We have a vast library of icons, buttons and other graphics available for use on your pages. If you'll include a detailed description of the graphics you want placed on your site we can probably provide them for you. However, the design process will be a lot faster if you can provide us with scanned graphics files in GIF or JPG format.

I don't have a scanner, can you scan my graphics for me?

If you don't have access to scanned images files you want included on your site send us the printed copies and we'll have them scanned for you at an additional cost. Typically, our cost for scanning service ranges from 5-10 dollars per image.

Do you accept credit cards?

We sure do! Credit card payments can be made using our online secure form by clicking here.

What will my internet address be?

Your site will respond as a sub-domain of bonuspages. For example, if you chose "widgets" as your sub-domain name your address would be www.bonuspages.com/widgets. In most cases you will have no problem using the sub-domain name you want.

Are there any restrictions on what I put on my pages?

Not as long as you adhere to the guidelines set forward in our policy statement. We do not host 'adult' sites, pages that include links to 'adult sites', pirated software, other unauthorized use of copyrighted material or sites that support any kind of illegal activities.

Can I take orders for my products/services on my page?

Absolutely! Its relatively easy to set up a form on your site for your customers to fill out and have e-mailed to you. Or, we can provide a form your customers can print and mail via US Post Office along with their payment. Just let us know what information we need to request the user to enter along with the e-mail address you want the information sent to and we'll design a form to be placed in your web space. Each form counts as one web page.

Can I resell space?

No. We feel that our prices are low enough that anyone can afford their own web site. You are not permitted to sell any pages on your site under any circumstances.

Can I sell advertisments on my pages?

You may sell ads on your pages so long as each one occupies a small percentage of each page. Ads occupying the equivelent of a 500 x 50 pixel graphic image conform to this standard.

Can I use banner exchange ads if I want to?

Sure! Exchange banner advertising is one of the best ways to promote your site without spending a lot. Keep in mind that banner ads will affect how your page loads, so you'll want to choose a service that limits graphic size and provides fast transfers.

How often can I update my pages?

You may update your pages whenever you like, as often as you want so long as you do not exceed your annual allotment of pages. Please keep in mind that our work load fluctuates, so give us plenty of lead time to complete any updates.

What is a CGI script?

A CGI script is a special kind of text file that the server can run to perform various tasks, such as displaying a hit counter, or mailing a form to you which has been filled out by a customer. We offer 3 basic CGI scripts already installed and ready to run. We can also custom design scripts to perform a variety of other tasks. Let us know when you specify your page layout if you want to include any of these.

How does the page hit counter work?

Each time someone visits a page containing a reference to your counter, the count increases by one and is displayed on the page. By changing the commands embedded in your page, we can change the appearance of the counter as shown below:

How does the time/date display work?

The same script that generates the page hit counter, can also display the current date and time of day. Please note that because of the way browsers cache pages, the time/date may not update automatically when a page revisited. You have a number of formatting options available to change the way the display is presented. Right now, its in Houston, Texas on .

How does the form mailer work?

The form mailer allows you to have information e-mailed to you from a form page included on your site. For example, if you want to take orders online we would create a form containing fields for all of the information you need to process an order. Once the user fills out the form and submits it, an e-mail message would be generated and sent to you containing all of the information the user entered. Use of the form mailer script is available at no additional charge.
